How to Check Your UJ Application Status
Go to the UJ Online Application Portal
Open the official UJ application portal in your browser. This is where all applications and status updates are managed.
Log In With Your Credentials
You will need the same details you used when applying:

Your student number or application number

Your ID number or passport number
Make sure your details are entered correctly to avoid login errors.
Select “Application Status”
Once you’re logged in, find the Application Status section.
Your current status will be displayed immediately, along with any additional instructions if required.
What Your UJ Status Might Show (Unique Explanations)
Application Captured
Your application has been successfully recorded in the UJ system.
In Review
Admissions staff are busy evaluating your academic results, documents, and programme selection.
Awaiting Documents
UJ needs additional documents from you before your application can move forward. This may include certified copies, proof of payment, or updated results.
Faculty Decision Pending
Your application has been forwarded to the faculty for academic approval.
Conditional Offer
UJ is willing to accept you, provided you meet specific conditions such as final marks or outstanding documents.
Firm Offer
You have been officially accepted into your chosen programme. You will need to confirm your space within the given time frame.
Unsuccessful
Your application did not meet the programme requirements. You may still qualify for alternative programmes or future intakes.
